This is a great little PC for the price. It is great when you are travelling. Wish it came with built in wireless data connection. I connected one from ATT and works well when travelling. Wireless WIFI works great in home, in StarBucks or other hot spots like my local library.br /br /Here are pros-br /1. Very light weight. Great for travelling. br /2. Built in media card reader. We can see photos and video clips on the screen which is bigger then one in Camera. Also can see downloaded videos on media player.br /3. Built in Webcam and microphone works great. My children use it to talk to Grand parents who live in other continent quite frequently. We use Skype video and it works great when network connection from both end is good. My other laptop has external Webcam and microphone and my wife hates those dangling wires.br /4. I installed MS Office 7 on this pc and it works okay. Offcource I am not trying to load very big documents, so no memory or other problems.br /5. My wife uses this as kitchen campanion. She watches recipes and cooking videos.br /6. Web browsing and e-mails works quite well.br /7. Color- eye candy light pink color is great and not available from many other brands or models.br /br /Cons-br /1. Screen is comparatively small. I press F11 key when using browser. It takes away upper bar and gives more screen space. Compared to smart devices such as iPod and similar ones (which has similar price) this is bigger screen.br /2. Mouse pad is quirky. When using browser, moving finger on mouse pad suddenly zoom out the screen. This makes all fonts so small that makes it un readable. Acer should fix this problem. Very annoying one.br /3. Battery lasts for me for about 1.5 hours. Need to carry extra set of battery, if taking this on longer duration flight.br /4. Need to convert dvds into sd-media card, if want to watch them while travelling. This is not easy to do.br /br /

Acer Aspire One AOA150-1672 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Pink Feature

  • With True Enhanced Performance.
  • Latest Technical Development.
Acer's Aspire one is more than a mobile communications platform. Although it does that extremely well. It has built in 802.11b/g and Fast Ethernet connectivity. The built in webcam lets you attend video conferences or have video chats. A 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor powers the Windows XP Home operating system. The 160 GB hard drive provides plenty of space for both your work and entertainment files. The Intel GMA 950 processor drives the 8.9-inch screen. The 1024x600 resolution provides an incredibly detailed image. An LED backlight helps to increase battery life. The Aspire One, for when you need a real computer but don't have a lot of space.

Great Laptop for Casual User - K. McClung - Texas
I originally was wanting to purchase a secondary laptop for college, something that would be lightweight and easy to carry to class with me. br /br /This computer is amazingly light, I stick it right in my purse and take it everywhere with me! The specs are good and it is perfect for doing homework or surfing the internet. Of course you have to get used to the small screen and keyboard, but I got accustomed to that in about a week or so. br /br /I honestly have no complaints about this laptop, I have had mine for about 6 months now and still use it almost every day. Of course the system is too small for an optical drive and that is understandable but doesn't take away from it's usefulness. I have a normal sized laptop to watch movies and burn DVDs but I take the little one with me so I can have the convenience of being connected 24/7.br /br /Definitely a great buy for someone who is always on the go~
